Desire of My Heart - Vocal Solo
Inspired by the introduction to the LDS primary song about the Holy Spirit, "Still Small Voice," the song quotes Mosiah 18 and expresses our covenant relationship with the Lord.
"Desire of My Heart" was performed in Salt Lake City, at the 2005 General Relief Society Music Festival of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Follow Thou Me - Duet
Firmly rooted in the text of Nephi 31, this baptism song features the final motive of the LDS primary song "Baptism" by Crawford Gates- "As was Jesus Christ our Lord" or "In the river Jordan's flow."
The performance of this duet can also be sung as a solo- but works best as a duet. The piano and vocal lines will likely require some rehearsal to coordinate the syncopated rhythms. The rhythms are not meant to be stiff, but more fluid--to sound like water.
